Are You Running on Empty?

Are we familiar with the picture? Yes, many of us who drive are. We know what is like to run on empty. Is that taking chances? Is it wise to drive a very long way with an almost empty tank?

ØMany are running on empty, spiritually. ØIs that a good thing? ØNo, but they take chances. ØThey don’t want to stop and fill up. ØThey want to continue the long trip on empty. ØWhere can I fill up? ØWhere is the nearest Bible station?

Romans 15: 13 - 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

ØWhat is the will of God for His children? ØDoes the Lord want you to run on empty? ØIs it the will of God for you to only have a “half tank” full? ØSatan is the one asking you to not look at the tank. ØSatan is the one distracting you, so that you can go low: ØOn JOY, PEACE, AND HOPE. ØWho are you going to listen to?

ØThe will of God is to see your spiritual tank full. ØHow do you feel when the tank is full? ØJoy--- That I am ready to continue. ØPeace--- That my car will not run out of gas. ØHope--- That I will make it to my destination. ØHow are you this morning? ØRunning on low? Will you continue like that?

ØDo you need help this morning? ØDo you want the Lord to be the driver of your life, and to fill you up? Hear Believe Repent Confess Be Baptized Be faithful till death.

ØIf you are a Christian, but there is sin in your life… ØThen you are running very low, and you need to fill up. Confess your sins. Repent of your sins. We will Pray on your behalf for your sins.
