1920 s -Hespeler stick company began to produce sticks on a larger scale -Two piece sticks allowed for players to easily replace broken blades

1950 s -The introduction of fiberglass allowed hockey sticks to become stronger and cheaper to produce.

1960 s -Stan Mikita breaks the blade of his stick and accidentally changes the game of hockey forever. -Companies begin manufacturing sticks with curves.

1980 s -Wayne Gretzky, considered by many to be the greatest hockey player of all time, is single handedly responsible for making Titan the number one stick producer in the industry.

1990 s -Aluminum sticks begin to dominate the market. They provide superior durability and lightweight for easy stick handling and powerful shots.

2000 to Now -Composite sticks now dominate the market. They are light, durable, flexible, and provide long lasting performance. Some players however, still prefer to use aluminum and even wooden sticks.
