Code upgrade and new tools • Photon clusters charge distribution is important to study the MWPC gain; • Photon clusters charge is now stored in the ESD friends. • HMPID task added to the QA train.
DQM QA shifter agent is in production at P 2 with 4 permanent summary plots; No change for HI, average quantities are the same (depends on trigger configuration); New addition: macro for DQM, set thresholds online, check the summary plots, visual aid for the DQM shifter.
DQM Flexible limit settings online (in macro), following the changes in the hardware: One module is off, temporary “normal” situation for 1 day, but the data is correct in the rest; Fix limits can mask further problems → redefine limits To be done: Implement checks from macro in offline code Online limits to be propagated to offline
ALIGNMENT • Using 14 milions of events without magnetic field, HMPID alignment object have been created and stored in the Alien OCDB; • LHC 10 b period data have been reconstructed (pass 2) applying the new alignment.

TRACK MATCHING PROBLEM • Strange results concerning uncorrected preliminary pbar/p ratio (≈ 1)! • Good tracks are selected cutting on extrapolated track – MIP cluster distance. • Residual have been considered separately for negative and positive tracks!

TRACK MATCHING PROBLEM • Positive and negative track local Y residuals are shifted depending on tracks momentum! • LHC 10 c period shows the same problem. • Shift disappear at high momenta. • The X residuals are ok (problem with alignment should affect also X residuals). • In Montecarlo data (with no disalignment) the tracking works well. No shifts are present.
