Histology Staffing • Sourcing Histology Professionals in a market with a shortage • Pre-qualifying • Travel verses Permanent Staffing
Sourcing Histology Professionals • Shortage of Histology Professionals • Active Vs. Passive Candidates • Using a Staffing Firm • Relocation
Prequalifying Histotechs • Go Straight to the source when conducting prequalification • Conducting Slide and Cutting Tests at Interview • Reference Checks Are Biased Information
Travel verses Permanent • Travel and Permanent Candidates are different • Travel staffing will be almost always instant “gratification” in filling jobs • Permanent staffing takes time, multiple interviews, and sourcing takes longer
