Do you get a sense of belonging when going to this group/club? In Hinduism, they have many festivals that they celebrate. They differ through the Gods/Goddesses they celebrate, how they celebrate them and how it makes them feel. We will investigate celebrating a group now.
Investigation/activity • Children to set themselves up as a special group which has an identity of its own because of what it believes in. • For example, you might believe that all dogs should have good homes, and must set themselves up with a group name/identity/badge or logo and decide three most important things for their new group to do in order to help dogs. Idea 1 All children should be allowed to have fun Idea 2 All children should have a roof over their heads Idea 3 All children should be able to go to school Idea 4 All children should be allowed to eat healthy food Idea 5 All children should be able to have access to clean water
