Application Process - Submit online application @ www. fortbendisd. com/academies - Recommended that students complete Algebra I prior to the start of their ninth grade year - Successful completion of all parts of the 7 th grade STAAR exam - 7 th and 8 th grade semester grades in math, science, ELA and social studies - Interview/ Presentation - Final acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of all eighth grade courses during the regular school year and all parts of the eighth grade STAAR exam.
