HIGHLANDS ES – BLACK HISTORY ACTIVITIES § Classroom Doors & Hallway Bulletin Boards are all reflective of important moments, places, and/or individuals that have had astounding impacts on Black History. § Students in Grades 3 rd – 6 th were assigned projects relative to Black scientists, scholars, sports icons, and inventors. § Black History trivia questions read over intercom each morning with weekly incentives. § Black History musical and showcase on the final Thursday of the month. § Cultural potluck luncheon for faculty and staff sponsored by school administration on the final Friday of the month. 5
