ARHS Safety Plan � � � The Evacuation Plan is utilized for all drills and events that require all persons to exit the school building. Fire Drills / Fire Evacuation / Bomb Threat ◦ All evacuations, both drill or real, should be performed in a serious manner ◦ Fire Drills are required at least once per month ◦ Drills will occur unannounced throughout the school year Fire Escape Routes ◦ Escape routes are posted in each classroom next to the doorway

ARHS Safety Plan Lockdown � There will be a clear announcement over the intercom regarding the situation. This will require all staff members to take charge of students and move them to a secure location, account for them and keep them safe until the security issue has been resolved.
