Parable of the talents Mt 25: 14 -16 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
Parable of the talents 1. He called his servants (stewards). Are we servants? Does His will control my life? Hearer vs doer Delivered his goods… gave. Seemed like the goods belonged to them. Look, there you have what is yours. ' "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
Parable of the talents 8. Opportunity for 1 talent guy to shine If you fail a test, God doesn’t leave you there. He trains you, gives more experience, and tests again. “each according to his own ability”
Parable of the talents How long was the master gone? How many opportunities did this guy ignore? Where do we bury our talents today? Do we sometimes think the Master is far away? Hasn’t come back for 2000 yrs. Result wasn’t pretty.
Parable of the Unjust Steward Lk 16: 11 -12 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?

Renewing an old concept… So, if we’re not owners, what position do we fill? Stewards of the Master’s goods Perhaps a whole new concept Really important to understand we’re looking after someone else's wealth. Responsibility to be fruitful, according to the Master’s plan. His desire is that all the world would be saved! Are we supporting that vision?
Becoming an Hilarious Generous Giver II Cor 9: 7 (TPT) Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity! There’s more – come up higher! Why be an hilarious, generous giver? Remember Lk 16: 11 -12…
Parable of the Unjust Steward Lk 16: 11 -12 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?
Becoming an Hilarious Generous Giver Like all gifts, it must be exercised. New muscles aren’t strong muscles! If I just keep giving, even though I’m grumpy about it, I’ll eventually get joyful? NO NO NO!!!!!! I know stingy givers that have been stingy for years – they’re STILL STINGY!

Becoming an Hilarious Generous Giver Pr 11: 24 -25 24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
Becoming an Hilarious Generous Giver This applies equally to our finances and our real riches. If we want to be “Made Rich” ie, walk in abundance, we MUST learn to be hilarious, generous givers of all our gifts. Give away Jesus! The best gift ever!!!
Becoming an Hilarious Generous Giver What comes first? Hilarious, or Generous? For me, it’s Hilarious. When I experience the JOY OF GIVING, what happens? I want to give more. And more. And MORE!!!! II Cor 9: 7 (TPT) …Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving… Joy is a powerful motivator! Think Jesus… Heb 12: 2
How to give with hilarious generosity Simple Answer: Ro. 10: 14 -17 Hear (Read scriptures about giving, or prophecy, or healing, etc out loud) Believe (repeat “Hear” until you believe) Feel free to ask the Lord for help Do! Declare that you are an hilarious, generous giver, or prophet, or healer. Declarations move heaven & earth. Begin to give your gift, exercising your heart towards joy. Speak to your heart, encourage it to be joyful! Think David…
How to give with hilarious generosity I can’t afford to give. Then you maybe doing it wrong God deserves the first and the best. Remember Cain and Abel? Not all gifts are acceptable. If we give Him the first, we’ll be able to give something, and expect Him to fulfill His word to supply our needs.

Hilarious Giving Protects your Assets Mal 3: 10 -11 10 Bring all the tithes gifts into the storehouse, Kingdom That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, " Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

What about the Old Testament? II Ti 3: 16 -17 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

II Ti 3: 16 -17 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Yes, we’re under the new covenant – but OT scripture clearly shows the nature and character of God! Law was types and shadows; fulfillment is always greater!
Prophetic word fulfilled in our day: Hag 1: 3 -6 3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 "Is it time for yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins? " 5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways!
6 "You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes. "
6 "You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes. “ Is this a familiar story for us today? Can’t seem to earn enough, even with two adults working, to pay the bills? If I could just get out of debt, I could tithe!
What about Tithing?
