Pressure 0. 1 MPa Fixed support FPC reaction force 2500 N Rod reaction force 900 N Gravity 9806. 6 mm/s 2 900 N 2500 N 900 N • Bolts were not modelled due to validity of a bonded model. • Welds were modelled between the particular components as bonded edge-to-face contacts. Deformation of vessel Lateral deformation • The lateral deformation of the vessel is 0. 84 mm. • The max vertical deformation is 0. 25 mm and occurs on the FPC plate due to bending. logo area Top plate deformation CERN 3
