Our Program n n n We represent Heritage High School by supporting our sports teams and leading school spirit We are a skill based competitive program We are students first, your grades effect your team As coaches and advisors, we will support our athletes and hold them accountable Expect a solid work ethic and positive atmosphere at all times

JV Cheer To push our athletes and build their skills n Expect solid instruction and progression (safety first) n Promote school spirit, exhibit teamwork, and leadership skills n Provide performance experience and improve performance skills n Intermediate category, will attend USA Nationals n

Varsity Dance Promote school spirit n Technical trained dancers, working to progress skills in both jazz and pom performances n Consistantly working on overall performance skills, showmanship n Plan on attending both jazz and pom competitions n Expect squad dedication through attendance, work ethic, and attitude n

Varsity Cheer Promote school spirit n We are athletes expected to train and progress in strength and in skill n Exhibit teamwork and leadership, through all squad activities n Consistently working on overall performance skills, showmanship n Expect squad dedication through attendance, work ethic, and attitude n

Camp Increased training sessions, skills camps n Varsity Cheer and Dance will attend UCA/UDA home camp July 7 th-9 th n Varsity Cheer will attend skills camp @ California All-Stars TBA $350 for both camps n n Varsity Dance will attend UDA skills workshop TBA $300 for both camps JV will attend skills camp @ California All-Stars TBA $250 Payments due to Mrs. Cardoza by May 15 th (Send confirmation on date out tomorrow)

Competitions/Nationals Increased exposure to competitive performances n Added competitions, UCA/UDA for Varsity, Nationals for JV, Dance- jazz competitions n Great America October 10 th or 11 th n Check website for dates n Florida Feb 5 th-9 th 2016 n USA Nationals March 2016 n

Fundraising n n n n Lots of events = $$$ We need to start now!!! Any affiliations, tax ride off Letter campaign starts April 30 th, need 10 emails Car Wash May 2 nd @Willy’s, will get 10 tickets each for presale. Proceeds will go towards competition fees. Competitions fees per member through Nationals: JV- $232 Total: $4, 872 Varsity Cheer - $533 Total: $17, 122 Varsity Dance- $329 Total: $3, 290 Nationals trips are field trips, hotel fees are not usually paid through fundraising Anything that is not covered through fundraisers needs to be covered through donations
