BUSINESS & MARKETING EDUCATORS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE CAPITAL DISTRICT AWARDS DINNER n n Recognize our top senior business student not only for academic achievement, but also for his/her outstanding citizenship and positive attitude. An honor dinner was held at the Turf Inn in Albany on May 3, 2007. Cost of parent and teacher dinners was sponsored by Canajoharie FBLA. Awards night presentation of plaque Newspaper article with student photo was submitted.

AWARDS NIGHT n We use our schools End of Year Award Assembly to recognize an outstanding student in each one of our business courses as well as: n n n Most Dedicated Business Student Top Senior Business Student BMEA Outstanding Senior Business Student The Business and Marketing Honor Society of NYS Students are called to stage and receive certificates, medals, plaques, pins, and honor cords.

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT n Future Business Leaders of America n n n Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT n Future Business Leaders of America n n n Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon (75 guests) Wellness Day Program Greeters (70 presenters) Community Charity (fire victims, cancer patient) n Professional Attire Day n n n Students dress for the business world in professional attire on the last Wednesday of each month. They ‘walk the walk’ and are judged by their peers. Simulated office break time follows with refreshments.
