Sometimes additional support is provided or arranged by our Special Needs Co-coordinator and, where necessary, specialist outside experts are called in.

More Able Pupils n We are equally alert to the identification of children who are exceptionally able and aim to meet their needs in a challenging and stimulating way.

School Uniform n All children wear a school uniform. We believe this shared identity helps children work together for a common goal. It also avoids morning rows over what to wear!

Behaviour n At Herbert Morrison School, we want all children to be given the chance to make the right decision about their behaviour. We have set up strategies to help them to make these decisions. n The whole school, consistently uses the ‘Assertive Discipline’ method which involves writing the child’s name under a ‘happy’ or ‘sad’ face on the board resulting from following the rules.
