Proposal (with questions) on how to fulfill commitments to EGEE and the EU •

Proposal (with questions) on how to fulfill commitments to EGEE and the EU • Consolidated requirements (internal doc) May 1 2004 • Base on existing HEPCAL and AWG docs. There will be ongoing review for HEP within GAG (EGEE will be represented ). • Definition of Common Application Interface (application independent) Jul 1 2004 • (relate to ARDA+EGEE work on high level service specs. Also fold in current work on Genius +GAT) • EGEE Application Migration Progress report Jan 1 2005(and Jul 1, 2005 + 1 Jan 2006)) • How do we organise evaluations on both ‘old’ and ‘new’ middleware. New middleware will not be deployed till early 2005? So must arrange regular feedback from Data Challenges F Harris Extended Steering Committee 4 March 2004 9

Future HEP organisation (meetings etc. ) • Propose Working Group meet once/month with phone

Future HEP organisation (meetings etc. ) • Propose Working Group meet once/month with phone conf • Have meeting at 1 st project conf in Cork April 19 • Regular feedback from Experiment data challenges and the ARDA project • Will have representation on GAG • Participate in ‘extended’ steering committee (? Every 3 months) • 2 from group (FH + ? ) will rep HEP in compact NA 4 crossapplication WG to ensure we are in synch overall for applications F Harris Extended Steering Committee 4 March 2004 10
