Essential Question: How can we create an indoor navigation app that can help people of ALL disabilities find their way around? Inside Navigation navigated indoors. However, it is only for people without disabilities.
Why Am I Doing This? You may be wondering, why am I solving a problem that “doesn’t affect me in any way. ” The truth is, if I solve this problem, I won’t only benefit people who are disabled, (15%) but also the people who are affected by the person. I know this because my sister is disabled, and whenever we go to a public place, my family is restricted to doing things like ● going on all the rides at amusement parks ● being able to do everything we want without any disruptions For families like mine, sometimes, we decide not to go to places because of her disability. My neighbor also has a disability, so I know that people like them would like this kind of app.

What Do I Want To Do In Regards To My Project? There are two things I want to do in regards to my project. ● The first thing I want to do is make sure that this app can be used for people with the most common disabilities, and for people who are around the disabled. ● The second thing I want to do is make this app in a way that it is easy for people to use. This app could come with a special stand, or a speaker so that it is easy to use.
What I Think Will Happen If I am successful, than people who are disabled, and around the disabled will be using this app and the extensions to enjoy outdoor places like a regular person. They won’t have to ask other people where to go, and will be able to go places on their own. This will be a great improvement for businesses, and the disabled.
How Will This Help? When you go out to a public place you may think that you need navigation to find out where to go. INSIDE navigation has successfully done that. However, this app is to no use of people who are disabled. ● No Voice ● Doesn’t Explain The Place ● Doesn’t Read What Is Around The Person This isn’t fair for the people with disabilities, and the people around them. Discouraged.
