Heaven Holds All To Me “For where your treasure is, there will your heart

Heaven Holds All To Me “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6: 21)

Earth holds no treasures but perish with using, However precious they be; Yet there’s

Earth holds no treasures but perish with using, However precious they be; Yet there’s a country to which I am going: Heaven holds all to me. Earth Holds no Treasure Comparable to Heaven • Earthly treasures are temporary (Col. 2: 21 -22; Prov. 23: 4 -5; 27: 24; James 5: 2 -3) • Earthly riches have little lasting value (Psalm 49: 6 -8; Matthew 16: 26) • It is wise to be willing to let go of the temporary to receive the eternal (Luke 16: 9; Phil. 1: 21 -23) • We should set our affections on things above (Colossians 3: 1 -2; Matthew 6: 19 -21)

Out on the hills of that wonderful country, Happy, contented and free, Angels are

Out on the hills of that wonderful country, Happy, contented and free, Angels are waiting and watching my coming: Heaven holds all to me. Angels await us in that “Wonderful Country” • We know little about the angels in heaven, but we know they are happy and free (2 Peter 2: 4; 1 Peter 1: 12; Luke 15: 10; Matthew 18: 10) • Like the great patriarchs of old, we should be looking and longing for a place in that heavenly country (Heb. 11: 14 -16)

Why should I long for the world with its sorrows, when in that home

Why should I long for the world with its sorrows, when in that home o’er the sea, Millions are singing the wonderful story? Heaven holds all to me. This World has no Appeal when Compared to the Joys of Heaven • The things of this earth often bring us sorrow as our outward man perishes (2 Corinthians 4: 16 -18; Romans 8: 18) • We long for a place where there will be no sorrow (Rev. 21: 1 -7) • Millions are singing the wonderful story (Rev. 7: 9 -10)
