We stand before throne of God, with countless crowds, All from every nation and race, tribe and language.

O Lord, open our lips, All and our mouth shall proclaim your praise.

Your faithful servants bless you, All they make known the glory of your kingdom.

Jesus said: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe in me also: All In my Father’s house, they are many rooms.

If it were not so, I would have told you: All I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, All and I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you may be also.

The night has passed, and the day lies open before us; let us pray with one heart and mind.

All As we rejoice in the gift of this new day, so may the light of your presence, O God, set our hearts on fire with love for you; now and for ever. Amen.

PSALM (Good News Version) Psalm 66 part 1

Praise God with shouts of joy, all people! 2 Sing to the glory of his name; offer him glorious praise! 3 Say to God, “How wonderful are things you do! Your power is so great that your enemies bow down in fear before you.

4 Everyone on earth worships you; they sing praises to you, they sing praises to your name. ” 5 Come and see what God has done, his wonderful acts among people.

6 He changed the sea into dry land; our ancestors crossed the river on foot. There we rejoiced because of what he did. 7 He rules forever by his might and keeps his eyes on the nations. Let no rebels rise against him.

8 Praise our God, all nations; let your praise be heard. 9 He has kept us alive and has not allowed us to fall.

I saw “a new heaven and a new earth. ” (Isaiah 65. 17) The first heaven and the first earth were completely gone. There was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem. It was coming down out of heaven from God. It was prepared like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said, “Look! God now makes his home with the people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death. ’ (Isaiah 25. 8) And there will be no more sadness. There will be no more crying or pain. Things are no longer the way they used to be. ” (Revelation 21. 1 -4; NIr. V)

My flesh and my heart may fail, All but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, All for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. CANTICLE Luke 1. 68 -69 (Good News Version) You will guide us with your counsel, O God, and afterwards receive us with glory.

“Let us praise the Lord, the God of Israel! He has come to the help of his people and has set them free. He has provided for us a mighty Saviour, a descendant of his servant David.

He promised through his holy prophets long ago that he would save us from our enemies, from the power of all those who hate us.

He said he would show mercy to our ancestors and remember his sacred covenant.

With a solemn oath to our ancestor Abraham he promised to rescue us from our enemies and allow us to serve him without fear, so that we might be holy and righteous before him all the days of our life.

You, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High God. You will go ahead of the Lord to prepare his road for him, to tell his people that they will be saved by having their sins forgiven.

Our God is merciful and tender. He will cause the bright dawn of salvation to rise on us and to shine from heaven on all those who live in the dark shadow of death, to guide our steps into the path of peace.

For those who have power and influence among the nations, that Christ sovereignty may be established among people of every race.

All God of holiness, your glory is proclaimed in every age: as we rejoice in the faith of your saints, inspire us to follow their example with boldness and joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER As our Saviour taught us, so we pray with confidence:
