Heather Hansen American Contemporary Artist
Heather Hansen Is an american artist that works all around the globe. She is currently based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and Paris, France. Her artworks are extremely unique and are frequently created as a performance piece as well as a final drawing.
Her original works are BIG- two or 3 times as big as a person at least!

She usually uses paper or canvas and charcoal, or pastels to make her artwork.
Since she creates work using her whole body which is symmetrical. Most of her artwork is also symmetrical. Symmetrical: Equal or the same on 2 sides, a mirror image This images has radial symmetry like a mandala! It can be split in multiple directions and still be equal in each part.
Heather describes her work by saying, “Emptied Gestures is an experiment in kinetic drawing. In this series I am exploring ways to download my movement directly onto paper, emptying gestures from one form to another. I will usually decide on a general shape and then improvise within a set of self imposed restrictions Kenetic: in motion or moving
