Heat Energy Research Theme ETP has been establishing a new research theme on “Heat Energy” in response to the Scottish Government’s emerging priority in the area of heat energy. To establish a broad R&D network focusing on heat energy across Scotland, involving both academia and industry. To provide a point of contact for the Scottish government when such expertise is needed. To create an interface between the academia and industry To facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange in this area.

ETP Energy Industry Doctorate Programme Each doctorate has two supervisors from different universities. Companies are co-investors, support project specification and engage directly with the research Average cost - £ 90 k total; Up to £ 30 k from ETP, remainder split between university and industry partner (can be in-kind).
