What is Tele. Health Access for Seniors? • A 501(c)(3) non-profit that began in March 2020 with a mission to: provide seniors and low-income communities with devices and instructions to connect them to their physicians via Tele. Health, friends and family via digital connectivity, and wellness tools via apps • Our origin story: • At the start of the pandemic, we recognized that low-income patients, particularly elderly, patients, may not have devices to access the rapidly expanding usage of telemedicine. • The group has a special focus on veterans, particularly as many are disabled and live in isolation. • The group expanded through friends & others interested in the mission and has become an official non-profit in 26 states with 350 TELEHEALTHFORSENIORS. ORG volunteers.
