NLC Decision Process n n n n appealing site/dates for 4250+ delegates willing state sponsor, judges, speakers entertainment park, airline access general session facilities for 5, 000 u front & rear screen projection u pyrotechnics & laser projection 1800 sleeping rooms per night (1500 t/q) 8, 000 total rooms at “reasonable rates” 60+ breakout rooms for CE + skill sites
Competitive Events Program n n 18 members / 3 -year terms u 14 states represented u 275 years of HOSA experience Director / Co-Director Category Chairs & Lieutenants Meetings – twice a year u Usually the first Friday in January u Prior to NLC
