About the CORHIO HIE • A non-profit, public HIE • One of the largest

About the CORHIO HIE • A non-profit, public HIE • One of the largest HIE networks in the U. S. : – – – – 47 hospitals 2, 200+ independent physicians/prescribers (non-hospital) 6, 000+ users 140+ long-term and post-acute care facilities 24 behavioral health centers 4 non-hospital labs (Quest Diagnostics, Lab. Corp, etc. ) State public health dept. • Most of the exchange is currently uni-directional • Hospitals & labs sending data to outpatient settings • Hospital ERs & EMS are accessing query-based HIE info • Actively working to expand bi-directional exchange
