Manheim Central v. Academic PE Course- Advanced Weight Training and Conditioning taught during the day for a full semester. v. The instructor is fully trained in Fitness. Most athletes take this course more than once. There is a progression scale followed…Course I and II. v. Benefit- Coaches don't have to schedule weight training as part of open gyms in the off-season. They can focus on skill development pertaining to their sport. v. The instructor also coordinates Fitness Training for the teams who want to do extra in the off-season. The coaches of those teams then run the trainings v. These programs are not open to the Public.

• • • Penn Manor Strength Training Coach Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring (Set Weight Room Hours) - with flex hours to accommodate team and athlete training) Duties: Monitoring, supervision and instruction in Penn Manor Weight Room (year round) • Summer Hours 7 am- 9 am or 8 am-10 am (Monday – Thursday) • School Year Hours 3: 00 pm – 4: 30 pm (Monday – Friday) • Orientation for new athletes – teaching core lifts • Team Training (sports specific training for teams committed to weight room) • Develop program for Junior High teams/athletes Help teach and instruct JH coaches on proper weight training Working with coaches and teams on out-of-season and in-season strength training programs (100 extra hours devoted to team training in season or out of season) • Possible to train the coaches SPEED Training class (30 hours) organized and coached as part of pre season programs for teams and athletes - ex. (Develop program for athletes/teams to attend 2 weeks prior to Winter and Spring Season x 3 days a week) Assist Athletic Trainer in rehab of injured athletes Coach and train Penn Manor Powerlifting Club if interest is there Care, maintenance and upkeep of weight room • Coordinate with Athletic Director to budget for new or replacement equipment Foster positive relationships with athletes, coaches and teams to enhance overall athletic program.

Annville-Cleona ● Approximately 15 Hours per week for 30 weeks ● Monitor locker rooms during training sessions. ● Establish an environment in the weight room and training areas that is welcoming to all students (athlete and non-athletes) who are looking to improve their physical fitness. ● Design, schedule and supervise year round weight training and conditioning programs for students and athletes at Annville-Cleona. ● Teach strength and conditioning sessions during scheduled hours. ● Be responsible for a working relationship with all coaching staffs. ● Maintain attendance and workout forms for teams and individual athletes. ● Setup and monitor all rules and regulations that are to be followed by all users of the Annville-Cleona weight room.
