Policies and protocols UK Gov guidance (11 th May 2020) • Carry out Covid-19 risk assessment* • Manage risks ALARP* 1. Increase hand washing and surface cleaning 2. Minimise numbers 3. Keep people 2 m apart – redesign workspace, stagger and control movement within the building, repurpose space, etc… 4. If not possible, take all possible mitigating actions 5. Particular attention should be given to vulnerable individuals *existing HSE/legal requirements

Next steps • Coordination of decisions and efforts across Uof. G through dedicated steering group (Covid-19 recovery work streams), COSE and local task teams • Develop and implement new policies and management systems for the management of population density and contact, setting priorities and criticality levels • ASSESS RISKS, return building to safe use, apply physical workplace changes, repurpose spaces, etc. • Source necessary equipment and material e. g. soap, plexiglass, PPE, …. • Instigate necessary supporting resources e. g. cleaning, policing, … • Train, inform, care for everyone’s mental health
