Past simple

Present perfect
Present perfect We use the present perfect tense to describe two types of actions 1. Unfinished actions that started long time ago but continued to the present üI have lived in Gaza since 2006. üDavid has written three books since his graduation. 2. Finished actions that ended short time before. Some effects of these actions are still clear in the present. ü They have cleaned the floor. üI have done my homework.
