IT’S YOUR PTA • Our purpose is to raise funds to support projects, activities and resources within the school environment to enhance learning, play and experiences for all the children • We aim to have as much fun as possible and to arrange a variety of social events for children or adults only and also for the whole family

WHAT HAS THE PTA FUNDED? • Tagteam playground markings • 16 Laptops • 48 Headsets for ipads • 32 ipads with cases and charging units • Junk Orchestra • 7 cameras (one per year group) • Noticeboard for the playground • Stage Lighting for the school hall • Book vouchers for the Easter competitions • First Aid Training for all the children • School Library and new books • Trim Trail fitness stations • Learn pads • Laptops, headphones and charging trolley • EYFS Play Equipment, Bikes and Scooters • Playground and Golden Time games • External visitors; Bookman, cooking sessions and science days • Smart boards in classrooms • Trophy Cabinet • Music keyboards and trolley • Musical Instruments • Microphones for performance in the school hall • And more………

2019/20 A VERY STRANGE ACADEMIC YEAR! Events and Fundraising: • School Disco x 2 • Christmas Fair • School calendar (back after a ten year break!) • Christmas Cards • Christmas Performance Refreshments & Raffle

A NEW INITITATIVE FOR THE PTA • Worked alongside Sam Dales in the village to create an optional extra for the uniformsummer and winter hats. The PTA receive £ 1 for each hat sold. • This was launched Easter time 2019 and we’ve ran two promotional competitions • Great feedback from parents plus brilliant press coverage

TREASURER’S REPORT Events and Profits: • 6 fundraising events, generating an income of £ 12, 008. 42 and a profit of £ 8, 376. 40. • £ 1000 donated through profit matching, plus £ 18. 48 from Amazon Smile. • Most profitable single event continues to be the Christmas Fair which made a fabulous £ 3, 070. 58, over £ 250 more than the previous year. • We also created a very successful 2020 school calendar thanks to the very talented Peach family! This project raised an impressive £ 1784. 68 profit. We all agree 2020 hasn’t been the year we were expecting but hopefully the pictures made you and your children smile as the months passed by. • The termly school discos are hugely popular with the children and despite not being able to have a summer disco we still made a substantial profit of £ 2, 510. 59

Pads with cases & charging units • 48 Headsets for ipads • Tag Team playground markings • Winter hat competition winners • Water bottles for the new Reception • Leavers gifts for the Year 6 • Current bank balance: • The PTA is going forward with a healthy (but understandably lower than normal) bank balance of £ 13, 222. 09. This will help to fund further equipment for the school and educational experiences for our children soon.

NEW COMMITTEE FOR 2020/21 • Nominations for new committee for the following posts: – – – Chair Vice Chair Secretary Treasurer Committee members • We also need parents who are willing to help at the larger events when they return. • Volunteers at this time who are very digitally savvy would also be a great benefit!

IT’S YOUR PTA Due to the current climate the PTA will need to go virtual for a while- watch this space for ways we can still raise funds for our school without large events!
