Reading Skills • In order to provide the committee with the necessary information of your student’s reading skills, please evaluate your student in three stages: • Stage One: The student reads the text independently. • Stage Two: The teacher reads the text to the student • Stage Three: The teacher reads the text to the student and writes down the answers.

1. Test 1: to be administered without “hakraa”, but regularly ( there can be the use of an electronic dictionary, and spelling will not be graded, the student can also have extra time) 2. Test 2: a different exam ( it does not have to be a complete unseen but rather two thirds or so) and must be administered with “hakraa”- disc or teacher reader, and the student will write down answers 3. Writing Skills • In order to provide the committee with the necessary information regarding your student’s writing skills, please test your student in two stages: • Stage One: The student writes a composition independently. • Stage Two: The student reads the composition to the teacher. • If the student’s composition is comprehensible and reflects the student’s level of language, it is not necessary to move on to Stage Two. Your student is not eligible for the oral exam.

An original copy of a composition your student wrote in class, with your corrections. Please highlight all the spelling and grammar mistakes and give it a grade, using the grading rubrics for the Bagrut examinations.
