Methodology

How do we improve it…. . Every bit of data you collected was collected to prove something. You have now got to show you weren’t just doing land use and all the other methods for a bit of fun or whatever…

It’s a bit like…. . ‘……. why did you collect all that data with those methods’

So, Take each method, one at a time and say WHY getting this particular data was the correct way to answer your question. . . . ‘Is Douglas at Stage 5 of the Butler Model? ’ Refer it to the characteristics you have written down about the Butler Model at the start of your work.

For example – Land use (Although not many of you have finished it) The land use data for the promenade was essential because. . . You could then compare the land use in 2015 with maps that were older and you could compare how many facilities were present at both dates. You could then estimate where this would equate to on the Butler Model. More or less facilities. . get it?
