Where It’s At: Our Students Pew Research Center • 93% of 18 - to 29 -year-olds own a cell phone; 65% own a smartphone • 31% of current cell Internet users say they mostly go online using their cell phone, not desktop or laptop. • 31% of American adults own a tablet computer • 60% of students sometimes feel “addicted” to their phone • 93% of students claim their smartphone makes their lives easier 7
