Harmonisation of First Aid Education STEPS 1 and 2 § The NS sends the application form with the teaching material to the Centre § This application is forwarded to an EFAC representative for a pre-evaluation

Harmonisation of First Aid Education STEPS 3 and 4 The EFAC representative sends his/her feedback to the Centre If there are divergences, the Centre will be the link between the EFAC representative and the NS § § After final approval of the document, the Centre sends the feedback to the NS; support of the EFAC representative is offered if necessary

Harmonisation of First Aid Education STEPS 5 and 6 § The EFAC representative goes to the NS to attend the FA training presented in the application § The EFAC representative makes a report using the Monitoring form and sends it to the Centre

Harmonisation of First Aid Education STEPS 7 and 8 § Based on the application and the EFAC representative’s feedbacks, the Centre agrees upon whether or not the training has obtained the EFAC award § This final answer is given by the Centre to the NS

Harmonisation of First Aid Education VALIDITY § The EFAC is given for 5 years § After 5 years, the NS sends a prolongation application form to the Centre § After advice of the GFARC, if needed, the EFAC can be extended for 5 years

Harmonisation of First Aid Education USE OF THE LOGO The Centre forwards the official logo after the EFAC has been awarded to a training programme § The NS sends one original certificate with the logo to the Centre § In 2018: 32 NSs hold EFAC
