Meet Man! Mat Man teaches body awareness and uses the wood pieces which is the foundation for building letters. Mat Man is made up of Big Line, Little Line, Big Curve and Little Curve. Frog Jump Letters Using Wood Pieces This video uses the wood pieces to demonstrate proper letter formation of the Frog Jump Letters (FEDPBRNM).

Frog Jump Letters with Imitation This video includes demonstration of the frog jump letters. In class we usually use the Wet Dry Try chalkboards. Chalk and chalkboards provide great feedback for our students and allows them to grasp the concept of letter formation. This video is also great if your student is trying to learn to write through imitation (demonstration).

Corner Starting Letters This video includes demonstration of some of the letters in the corner starting letters. The idea is the student starts in the left hand corner by the smiley face and then moves to the other corner for most of these letters.

Center Starting Letters All of these letters start in the center of the top. They include letters COQSAITJ. No fun song here. But great demonstration of each letter as well as phonics for each letter!

Lowercase Letter Formation In the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum they have broken down the lower case letters into four sections. 1. 2. 3. 4. Lowercase Letter Formation Identification This video goes over each letter and helps the children identify what group of letters they are. This helps when they are writing on lined paper where to properly size their letters.
