What effects did the earthquake have? It killed 1/3 of Haiti’s population. This effected 3 million people. It didn’t just destroy buildings and humans it also destroyed nutrition and other serious things. This lead to. . . • No Food • No Clean Water • Lack of medical aids It didn’t just effect the people of Haiti it also effected other countries. By sending food and aid to them they are loosing some of there own aid and loosing money by sending things like aid.

 • The earthquake struck 15 km (10 miles) South –West of Port-au-Prince followed

• The earthquake struck 15 km (10 miles) South –West of Port-au-Prince followed by to aftershocks • US, UK and Venezuela among others did a lot to help the terrible earthquake • Although many other richer did send food it wasn’t enough so people had to stand in long ques to get food and water. • It happened on the 12 January 2010 • It was Haiti’s worst earthquake in 2 centeries (2000 years)
