2. 1. Glossary Title of Story In a white paper 3. 4. 5. 6.
Glossary Title of the story How to assemble mini-book 1. Cut off excess paper by cutting along the border lines of the grid. 2. Arrange the page so that the layout is landscape (like the template). The words glossary, title of the story and the numbers 1 and 2 indicate the top portion of the grid and the numbers 6, 5, 4, and 3 indicate the bottom portion of the grid. 3. Fold the paper in half vertically (hamburger style) with numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 being folded to the back. 5. 6.
Glossary Title of the story Cut along the middle border line until you reach the intersection (the half way point) 5. 6.
1. 5. Fold the paper in half vertically (hot dog style) so that the numbers 1 and 4 are on the front. 4. Now the tricky part (at least as far as my ability to explain is concerned). 6. Grab and pull forward (together) the parts that have the numbers 1 and 4, glossary and 6. You will be looking at the backside of the paper (Ha ha!), however, it won’t be the entire sheet because there should be a remaining fold. (My Microsoft word skills won’t allow me to illustrate this step better than this. )
8. Fold the paper in half horizontally (hamburger style) so that numbers 1 and 2 are face up. 2. 3. 4. 1. 2. 1. 7. Flip the paper over so that the numbers 1, 4, 2, and 3 are facing up. There should be an accordion style fold beneath the numbers 1 and 4 (with the number 6 and the word glossary beneath). You’re almost finished.
Glossary Title of the story 9. Pull the flap with the number 1 forward so that title of the story and glossary are face up. Title of the story 10. Finally, fold the paper vertically so that glossary is at the back of the book and title of the story is face up.
