Él, ella and usted all use “le gusta” and ellos, ellas and ustedes all use “les gusta” so it is necessary to clarify who is doing the liking. • You can obviously tell who the subject is in these sentences: • Me gusta dibujar Te gusta patinar No nos gusta cantar • However, you CANNOT tell the subject in these sentences so a clarification must be made • Les gusta dibujar A ustedes les gusta dibujar Le gusta patinar A Andrés le gusta No les gusta cantar A ellos no les gusta cantar.
