About the College Guru Nanak Girls College, Yamunanagar ( Haryana ) was established in 1973 and since then has been serving the community by providing value-based and affordable higher education. With decades of standing, we have set high standards in education while maintaining a balance between moral values and modernity. The task was well begun by our founder Pandit Sant Nischal Singh Ji whose vision was to educate women and make them self reliant. He felt that educating a woman is a big service to the society because she serves two families and hence a generation. College Management in collaboration with the Principal and faculty is trying to carry forward the legacy of the founder. Our Mission is to fulfill his vision in true spirit and to prepare the women to keep pace with the changing world scenario. Our college with a rich legacy of 43 years of academic excellence and service to humanity has the proud distinction of being accredited with ‘A’grade by NAAC. There are 31 UG and 13 PG courses in various faculties of Humanities, Science, Commerce, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Computers, Multimedia, Mass Communication and various Vocational & Skill Oriented programmes. E (Production) Dr. Pankaj Madan is Dean and Head Faculty of Management Studies, Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar (Uttarakhand ) and Professor In-charge – Corporate Affairs and Outreach Cell. After studying in India , he did MPWT (Web Technology) from UK. He had teaching assignments as Visiting Professor at Tartu University, Estonia, Europe, Shaoxing University, China and University of Southern Queensland in Dubai. Dr. (Prof. ) KARMINDER GHUMAN Dr. Ghuman is currently Associate Professor and Area Chair – Marketing & Entrepreneurship at LM Thapar School of Management, Thapar University. He is heading the Centre for Indian Management and also leading the Venture Lab, an incubation centre. . With 19 years of professional experience he is trainer and consultant and has conducted numerous assignments with government and private sector organizations. He has been trained at prestigious institutions in India and abroad namely: ISB Hyderabad, IIM (A), Groningen University and University of Twente, The Netherlands, etc. The foreign assignment as a Trainer and Consultant with Ministry of Tourism, North East Africa, has provided him with a cross-cultural experience.
