Guido Borelli da Caluso é um pintor italiano, nascido em Caluso, em 1952. Ele vem de uma família de artistas, que, desde a sua infância, sempre o incentivou a desenvolver o seu talento. Com 13 anos de idade ganhou um concurso e, aos 17 anos, realizou a sua primeira exposição na “Ars Plauda Gallery”, em Turim. Após o colegial, ele recebeu formação artística na “Academia Albertina” de Turim. Borelli já expôs em vários países como: Uruguai, Holanda, Egito, Inglaterra, Malta, Noruega, Alemanha, Estados Unidos, Espanha, Bulgária, França, Polônia, Costa Rica e Japão, tendo exposições permanentes de suas obras em galerias de Arte tais como: “French Art Network” em New Orleans, EUA, “Stew. Art Gallery”, Battle, UK, “Jones & Terwilliger”, Carmel, EUA, “Galerie Art Passion” em St. Paul de Vence, França, “Poster Galerie”, Hamburg - DE, e “Galleria d'Arte Portofino” em Portofino, Itália. As suas telas transmitem de forma romântica toda a beleza e encanto das aldeias à beira-mar do norte da Itália, das pequenas cidades, casas e vilas. Borelli tem como ponto principal a natureza, pintando no estilo romântico do século XIX. Inspirado pelo jogo de luz e sombra, as suas pinturas a óleo dão vida a flores, árvores, nuvens, barcos, bicicletas, ou a uma simples rua numa pacata aldeia.

Biography: Guido Borelli da Caluso is an Italian painter, born in Caluso in 1952. He comes from a family of artists, who, since his childhood, encouraged him to develop his talent. When he was 13 years old, he won a competition and , at 17 years of age, he held his first exhibition at the “Ars Plauda Gallery”, in Turin. After high school, he received his artistic training at the “Academia Albertina”, in Turin. Borelli has already exposed in several countries such as Uruguay, Netherlands, Egypt, England, Malta, Norway, Germany, United States, Spain, Bulgaria, France, Poland, Costa Rica and Japan and has permanent exhibition of his works in Art Galleries: “French Art Network”, in New Orleans, USA, “Stew. Art Gallery”, Battle, UK, “Jones & Terwilliger”, Carmel, USA, “Gallery Art Passion”, in St. Paul de Vence, France, “Poster Galerie”, Hamburg-DE, and “Galleria d'Art Portofino”, in Portofino, Italy. His paintings convey, in a romantic way, all the beauty and charm of the seaside villages of Northern Italy, of the small towns, villages and homes. Borelli has as main point the nature, when he paints in the XIX century romantic style.
