satisfaction the good feeling that you have when you have achieved sth. 满足，满意，欣 慰，令人满意(欣慰)的事 to one's satisfaction e. g. To his satisfaction, he got twice as many people voting for him as he thought.

be bound to • certain or likely to happen一定会（发 生）, 决心 • e. g. It’s bound to be sunny again tomorrow. • e. g. You’ve done so much work—you’re bound to pass the exam.

leave…alone • pay no attention to 丢下不管，不理会 • e. g. Don't leave the little boy alone. After all, he is too young. • leave. . . aside搁置一边 • leave for+目的地 “前 往” • e. g. He left home for the station a few minutes ago.

test out 对. . . 进行彻底检 验 e. g. Scientists test out theories by experiment. I wanted to test out the television set before I bought it.

ring up cf: ring sb. up/ring up sb. =call sb. up/ call up ring---rang---rung sb. 给. . . 打电话 ring off 挂断电话 I have been trying to ring up all day and I couldn't get through. 达到. . . 销售额 The company rang up sales of $166 million last year.
