Guided Practice • Create small groups of 4 or 6 students. • Divide the groups into two teams of two or three students. • Select one person from each team to be spokesperson. • The following slides will consist of different scenarios. Read the scenario. As a team, collaborate on what to say and how to respond to the opposing team’s dialogue. • Each team starts off with 10 points. Using a score card, score the opposing teams responses.

Ask his parents if he can go. Team 2 Your son’s best friend wants to take your son to a Blazer game. He has come to the house to ask for your permission.
