Pre-recording buffer in RAM Video pre-buffer stored in RAM Video written to HD when needed only Optimizes video database writing and I/O operations High performance - Low TCO

Pre-recording buffer in RAM Partner benefits: ● Reduced server cost as - allows more cameras per recording server - lower specification disk storage can be used ● Reduced customer support and maintenance effort End-customer benefits: ● Minimizes wear and tear on disc systems ● Reduced power, heat and cooling needs High performance - Low TCO ● Significantly reduced cost for disk maintenance ● Increased system reliability

Pre-recording buffer in RAM – tangible benefits Savings 100% Sa vi ng s ar e 80% in ve rs el y pr 80% ● Less disk I/O operations less wear and tear op or tio na lt o ● Longer disk durability th e de ● Reduced disk maintenance effort and cost gr e e of m ot Plus reduction in: io n 0% High performance - Low TCO 20% 100% Degree of motion ● Initial disk investment ● Power and cooling needs

Scalable Video Quality Recording™ - SQVR Next generation video recording technology that explores the synergies between edge and central storage 1. Record high quality video at the edge 2. Record low quality video centrally UP TO DATE OPERATIONS Patent Pending High performance - Low TCO 3. Retrieve high quality video when and if required (event, schedule or manually) Works with both camera associated edge storage and Interconnected systems

Scalable Video Quality Recording™ - SQVR Partner benefits: ● Reduces the overall storage and network cost ● Secure way of capturing high quality preevent recordings Patent Pending End-customer benefits: ● Significant reduction in network traffic and central storage costs ● Enables general use of higher video quality High performance - Low TCO ● Ideal for cameras connected via intermittent connections

SQVR - effective multi-site operations Partner benefits: ● Unlocks new market segments with Milestone Interconnect ● Especially in mobile onboard transportation surveillance solutions End-customer benefits: ● Reduces network traffic – ideal for slow or intermitted connections High performance - Low TCO ● Enables instant access to low quality recorded video, with the possibility to retrieve high quality video from the edge when needed

H. 265 video codec support Up to 50% * more efficient compression than H. 264 High performance - Low TCO *) Actual short-term gain expected to be 20 -30% New video encoding standard building on H. 264 Initially supported by: ● Vivotek (device pack 8. 7) ● Samsung (Hanwha Techwin) Others will follow, incl. : ● Dahua

H. 265 video codec support Partner benefits: More price competitive solution: ● Significant (up to 50% - likely 20 -30%) reduced network and storage costs ● Makes 4 K/UHD viable End-customer benefits: ● Same video quality at reduced cost – higher video quality at the same cost ● Savings on network infrastructure ● Savings on video storage costs High performance - Low TCO ● Server hardware costs savings – more cameras per XProtect recording server* *) without VMD

Smart Map – geo-navigation * Overlay to existing maps with seamless drilldown Support for GIS maps and CAD drawings Supports online maps: Google, Bing and Open. Street. Map Capabilities will be extended over the next couple of releases Efficient operation

Smart Map – geo-navigation Partner benefits: Increased solution applicability Reduced setup and configuration time needed as existing CAD/GIS maps can be reused End-customer benefits: ● Seamless geo-navigation ● Increased situational awareness ● Re-use of existing CAD/GIS maps Efficient operation ● Supports on/off-line map services

Smart Map – key features Aggregation of multiple nearby cameras New and broader set off camera icons Toggle information layers on/off Quick links to locations and classic maps Quick links enables easy geonavigation Instant camera preview
