GMBA RETURN TO PLAY Target Date of July 5 House league ● July 5 start with completion by Labour Day Select ● Hoping for 6 teams (9 U through 15 U) ● Anticipate teams will have to self-schedule so amount of games is unknown Rep ● Starting July 5 and ending August 18 for 18 U and September 9 for remaining divisions. ● 19 teams (8 U through 18 U) to play 18 -20 games each ● All divisions expected to have tournament style playoffs. We would host 9 U T 2, 14 U T 1 and T 2
HIGHLIGHTS OF OBA RETURN TO SPORT GUIDELINES SOCIAL DISTANCING Players/coaches/umpires are encouraged to remain a minimum of 2 m apart whenever possible. USE OF FACE MASKS Face coverings must be worn in the following situations: ● When off the field, including when in the bench area. ● When holding runners on at 1 st base ● When performing first aid (non-family) ● Coaches must wear face coverings whenever approaching another participant ● Umpires may choose to wear a mask.

NEXT STEPS ❏Make sure you understand the Baseball Ontario Return to Sport Protocol ❏Make sure you are familiar with the self-screening process ❏Complete the “Safe Sport” Training module (ONE TIME ONLY) - registration at coach. ca is required but is free - please complete the “Direct Athlete Contact” option ❏Complete Baseball Ontario’s “Volunteer Screening Disclosure Form” (ANNUALLY) ❏Complete a police record check (if required) per Baseball Ontario’s “Volunteer Screening Policy” with respect to umpires ❏Complete a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) if in a “Level 3 risk” position AND born before 2/28/86 ❏Complete a CPIC or EPIC screening if in a “Level 2 risk” or higher position.

RECORD CHECKS Important Notes ● When asked for the affiliate please select “General”. Do NOT select Inter County Baseball Association. ● A VSC only ever needs to be completed once, and thereafter a CPIC or EPIC will be required when next screening is due in 3 years ● Record Checks for those living in Guelph can be obtained online from the Guelph Police Department ○ Authorization #: AN 2020724114458127 ○ Expiry: 07/24/2022 ● Those residing outside of the City of Guelph, will need to contact their local police or OPP detachment for instructions.
