GSA Catalog Management: Verified Products Portal The Verified Products Portal (VPP) will be a manufacturer and wholesaler facing portal where participants will be able provide rich data elements such as: Supplier Authorization Details such as their authorized resellers, product lines, and Doing Business As (DBA) Product Category Details such as the product’s brand name and manufacturer part number (MPN) Product Descriptions/ Images including if the product is remanufactured, high and low resolution product images, and product features Supply Chain Attributes such as Country of Origin (COO) if applicable and Energy. Star Labels Pricing Information (optional) such as a threshold for which the authenticity of the item is questionable and date of upcoming price increases Connections to Catalog ● VPP will connect to the Authoritative Catalog Repository (ACR) through an API ● Data provided by the VPP will be used to augment and standardize catalogs for accurate product representation to customers 6 | 2020 NIB/NAEPB Virtual Conference and Expo

GSA Catalog Management: Common Catalog Platform The Common Catalog Platform (CCP) will offer a new, web-based user interface for all catalog actors including contract holders and the GSA workforce. Common Catalog Platform (CCP) Objectives Example Benefits ● Enhanced Data Governance ○ Improve catalog data quality ○ Preserve historical catalog records ● Combine ingest & approval of catalog pricing / data to review and approve pricing and catalog data in one step ● Improved Systems Efficiency ○ Retire two-step MAS catalog process ○ Decommission legacy catalog tools / apps ● Discern contractual and administrative actions so that purely administrative actions can be effective immediately in applications like Advantage ● Augmented Catalog Access ○ Enhance digital experience ○ Create a single catalog access point ○ Line item / catalog-wide changes, review, and approval ● Tracked, line-item changes CCP shows exact differences between existing catalog with proposed changes (additions, changes, deletes) to both vendors and COs ● ● Integrated Catalog and Contracting Processes ○ Streamline administrative changes and data exchange Contracting forms will auto-fill from the CCP to reflect temporary pricing changes and other contracting relevant catalog actions Timeline: Currently developing requirements.
