Introduction l l User-Producer workshop was held and some items were prioritized to meet

Introduction l l User-Producer workshop was held and some items were prioritized to meet the demand of users, in line with the available resources. Based on the Users demand, the items will be collected at different levels, i. e. from Population Census (complete count), Sample Agricultural Census (Core and Supplementary module), Annual and specialized surveys.

Strategy l l The agreement was reached to collect two items under the Population

Strategy l l The agreement was reached to collect two items under the Population Census: Then Data Producers were mandated to negotiate with the Population Census department for inclusion of two core items i. e. - Identification and location of agricultural holding - Land tenure type - Livestock numbers for each Household The meeting agreed that Sex, age and household size will be easily calculated once the identification and location of agricultural holding is known

Strategy l l l For some items which contains variables that do not change

Strategy l l l For some items which contains variables that do not change much over time, It was agreed that data will be collected in the Agricultural Census (Core module). (6 items) For items in which demand was high, it was decided to collect data under Agricultural Census (Supplementary module) (4 items from core and 49 items from themes) It was agreed that for items where the demand for data is less, collection will be conducted through specialized surveys.
