Observations on Farmers’ Portal �Portal should be in regional language. A module is to be developed where English data entry should automatically be converted into regional language and an option of validation by state nodal officers should be given. �User manual of farmers’ portal in regional language should be there. �Live Chat option should be there in the portal. �List of state wise training schedule should be there and a module for states to upload the same.

Contd… �List of nearest SAUs , ATMA, KVK and other agricultural allied institutes should be there on the portal and can be displayed on map itself. �New Research and innovations from ICAR and other research institutions should be pulled and displayed on the portal. �MSPs will be provided by Agri. Statistics Deptt. thru SNO. �Grievance redressal/contact link should be there(Escalation Matrix) and number of grievances received and replied. �District wise IMD data should be pulled through XML and to be displayed on the web. �Login credentials for uploading POPs can be given to SAUs.

Contd… �District-wise dealers report to be incorporated. �Pesticides & Fertilizer dealers data entry to be separated. �Agriculture Insurance Details should be there on the web. �Animal Husbandry & Fisheries information should be linked. �Text to Voice facility should be there. �Responsive website should be made so that it can be easily accessed on mobile without scrolling. �Ground Water Maps should be linked.

Pest, Disease & Management: �State wise Crops should be authenticated like Punjab – Groundnut. �Pests & Disease pictorial representation should be there like Crop Doctor, Tamil Nadu. �Short Video Clips of Pest and Disease should be there �Common Name of Pesticides etc. should be used. � Pest Management System is to be integrated : Crop wise Symptoms of diseases should be linked with Pest Control System �List of prohibited pesticides and hazards of use of pesticides �Crop wise list of approved pesticides.

Contd… �Pest and Disease Incidence Calendar – State wise, District wise can be maintained. �List of state and district wise Seed, Soil, Water, Pesticide & Fertilizer Testing Laboratories and Certification Agencies should be given in the portal.

Dealers Licensing: �License renewal Alert should be sent to the dealer 30 days prior to expiry and reminder should be sent prior to 15 days. �Automatic Removal of dealers whose licenses have expired. � Automatic Linking of new dealer registration.

Storage: �Category wise Storage information to be maintained. �SWCs are not computerized. �One time entry can be done and then regular updation of data. �Frequent updation can be done through SMS or USSD, if there is no infrastructure available.

SMS Portal: � State wise Entity wise messages in dashboard should be there. � In Dashboard, Graphs should be there for state comparison and interlinking of graphs. � Graphs for user specific dashboard. � Use of AI to generate auto answers of repeated queries with the help of CDAC Pune. � Publicity of Pull Codes should be done. � Number of farmers registered in state, district and block should be displayed. � For excel sheet uploading, dos and don’ts should be there. � Option of “Officers registered for sending advisories” should be displayed only to central and State nodal officers and in case of State, message should go to officers of that state only. � Department wise state wise reports are not coming complete. � Circulating updated User Manual. � User wise State filter should be maintained.

USSD NEW OPTIONS: �Providing schemes information for particular location. �Providing weather advisories through USSD – pulling it from IMD �Providing Mandi price.
