Safety Review • • • There are inherent dangers in our sport whether from weather, sea, human error or accident. The Club continuously works towards identifying and managing that risk and mitigating harm that may result, but incidents still happen and lessons are learnt. Successive committees continue to build on experience, to update and expand our policies to reflect changes in environment, facilities and equipment. Our instructors too are instilled with a ‘safety first’ principle which is overseen by both an experienced SI and the training manager. We will review these policies every year, as every line is written with consideration, to ensure best practice and assure the safety of all our members.
