Green Environmental Management System Introduction • • • UST A, B, and C operator

Green Environmental Management System Introduction • • • UST A, B, and C operator training has been mandated by the federal government to be administered by each state. Each state has created its own guidelines and regulations concerning UST A, B, and C operators. MA has regulated that all C operators will be trained by a certified A or B operator in person and at the location the C will operate in. • There will be an official form signed by both the Al. B and the C operator and the date of the training. This form must be kept on site. The C Operator should be on site when the UST is in operation. • The Al. B operator will train the C operators in the following areas: Emergency Pump Shutoff Switch, Emergency Response Plan, Spill Kit, Tank Monitor Alarms, and the Tank Area. • Once training is complete, the Al. B operator will send the names of those trained to the Training Department so those trained will receive credit for attending the Classroom: onsite A/8 Conducted UST C-Certification Training.
