1: acquire a plastics bottle about 17 - 13 centimeters long, and a diameter of blank. Note that a screw cap is greatly advise for easy access. 2 uncap the bottle 3 acquire a small balloon blow it up so it fix snug at the bottom of the bottle. Screw cap
4 After placing the balloon at the bottom of the bottle. Take the cap, inside the cap make a layer of cotton balls of insert 5 -7 cotton balls( depending on how big the cotton balls are) 5 cut a section (6 inches by 8 inches) of bubble wrap. The cut a another section( 1. 5 inch by 1. 5 inch square. 6 place the square of bubble wrap on top the cotton already placed in the cap.
7 now take the square of bubble wrap ( 6 inches by 8 inches) fold it in half length wise ( 3 inches by 8 inches) 8 take the newly fold piece of folded bubble wrap, then place the bubble wrap around the inside of the bottle just above the balloon. 9 you have now created a space that the egg will go into. Egg goes in here
10 now place the egg into the space created by the bubble wrap. 11 after placing the egg screw the cap filled with the cotton balls and the bubble wrap. 12 Next acquire 5 to 4 packaging bags. Tape the bags to the outside of the bottle. Not that the bags should be secure. 13 Now your lander is complete!
Site Number: V 07194011 Latitude: 18. 7° N Longitude: 269. 0° E Our GREEN 1 scientists decided this location as our landing site because of the unusual giant hole in the side of a volcano. We believe this was due to a gigantic explosion or a colossal rock slide. Another theory is that was a immense hot spring or lake.
. The reason why our lander had a higher velocity was because of the weight. Our rover weighted 324 grams. Green 5’s lander weighted 47 grams and there velocity is actual quite low.
