E. / Health 1 credits Electives 4 credits TOTAL CREDITS: 23 credits • Two years of the same foreign language are required for admissions into University System of Georgia colleges and universities • Three years of JROTC can be used to fulfill P. E. /Health Requirement

Transcript/ Report Card • A transcript/ report card is mailed from the Gwinnett County Public School Office twice a School Year (January and June) • All the courses your student took are listed on the transcript/ report card • Listed on the transcript/ report card are the credits earned or not earned • 0. 500 and 1. 000 indicates that the student has earned credit for the course • 0. 000 indicates that the student did not earn credit for this course

How to Make Up Credit • Options • Credit Recovery – with a failing grade of 60 -69 - $75 per 0. 5 credit • • Not for athletes!!!!!! – (Not NCAA approved) Gwinnett Online Campus - $250 per 0. 5 credit Phoenix – (Evening Classes) - $150 per 0. 5 credit Summer School – (Online or Face to Face) - $250 per 0. 5 credit • Students who plan to take a course outside of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) must meet with their counselor first! Beginning August 6 th, 2018 the Office of School Improvement and Operations must approve ALL credit awarded to GCPS students for courses taken outside of GCPS. Student must pass a GCPS final exam prior to receiving credit for the outside course. In addition, GCPS students who are seeking credit from a private school must take and pass End of Course (EOC) assessments regardless of the private school's accreditation status.
