Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences • Yeditepe University has aimed to become a research institution by continually raising the quality of undergraduate and graduate education since being founded in 1996 -97. The strategic goal of GNAS is to increase the ratio of graduate students in the student body by offering highly qualified graduate programs in science and engineering. The School is currently offering 25 graduate and 8 doctorate programs under 16 separate departments.

This is a virtual class which every student is expected to register only once. We use this class for general announcements about degree programs, seminars, rules and regulations. You can also access your curriculum information, flow chart diagrams for thesis submission and many more resources under this class.

Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Ø MSc: 7 Courses (core and elective courses) + Seminar Course(NC) + Thesis: Courses have to be completed in 4 semesters, Min. CGPA: 3. 00 out of 4. 00 Ø Ph. D (After MSc): 7 Courses (core and elective courses) + Seminar Course(NC) + Must pass Qualifier Exam + Thesis: Courses have to be completed in 4 semesters, Min. CGPA: 3. 00 out of 4. 00 Ø Ph. D (After BS): 14 Courses (core and elective courses) + Seminar Course(NC) + Must pass Qualifier Exam + Thesis: Courses have to be completed in 6 semesters, Min. CGPA: 3. 00 out of 4. 00

Important Points (Dismissal Procedure) (Starting from 2016 Fall) • MSc 1. Cannot complete course work within 4 terms with CGPA of 3. 00 2. Cannot complete courses and thesis in max. 3 years
