Balanced Diet When we take energy-giving food, body building food and protective food in right amount, it is said that we have taken a balanced diet. A balanced diet contains all the necessary food items in the right amount for keeping our body healthy and fit.
Eating a balanced diet helps us -having more energy -grow properly -protect against diseases -keep healthy -feel good Eating a balanced diet makes us healthy.
TIPS TO HEALTHY EATING 1. Drink sufficient water. We should drink at least 6 -8 glasses of water everyday. 2. Wash fruits and vegetables properly before cutting and eating. 3. Wash your hands properly before and after eating food. 4. Keep your food covered. Do not eat uncovered food. 5. Chew your food well and eat slowly.
6. Avoid eating junk food. 7. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits only. 8. Eat regular meals at proper intervals. 9. Do not talk, laugh, read or watch TV, computer, or mobile while eating food. 10. Brush your teeth at least twice a day.
