WAS SHE WELL KNOWN? Until the late 1990 s Hopper wasn’t well know She is rarely mentioned in any public form until 1970 WHY? !? !? !
POSSIBLE WHY SHE WASN’T WELL KNOWN Manhattan Project : secret group that designed and built atomic bombs Hopper inputted a set a mathematical equations into the Mark I She didn’t know what they were being used for because of security reasons 1945: atomic bombs were dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki
